Cieľom dokumentu je hľadať a identifikovať faktory, ktoré nacistické zverstvá Holokaustu umožnili. Spolu s divákom si kladieme úprimnú otázku, či by sa niečo podobné mohlo udiať aj v našej dobe… V časoch rastúceho antisemitizmu, politickej propagandy, apatie a geo-politických zmien, ktoré sa vôkol nás dejú, je dôležité pripomenúť si príčiny, ktoré vznik 3. ríše umožnili.
“Mňa sa to netýka” je aj snahou vyzdvihnúť jednotlivcov a skupiny, ktoré si namiesto svojho komfortu či letargie zvolili radšej trpieť s trpiacimi a vzoprieť sa násilníkom. Pochopili totiž, že prenasledovanie, či krivda voči jednému národu je krivdou voči nám všetkým… a preto sa nás to týka…

The aim of the document is to search for and identify the factors that made the Nazi atrocities of the Holocaust possible. Together with the viewer, we ask ourselves the honest question of whether something similar could happen in our time … In the times of growing anti-Semitism, political propaganda, apathy and geo-political change that is happening around us, it is important to remember the reasons that made the Third Reich possible.
“It doesn’t concern me” is also an effort to pick up individuals and groups who, instead of their comfort or lethargy, have chosen to suffer with the suffering and resist the rapist. They understood that persecution or guilt against one nation is guilt against all of us … and that’s why it affects us …
